The 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport draws extensively on the experience and expertise of the Peugeot Sport team to deliver a winning combination of high performance, first-rate road handling and maximum safety.
The 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport is a road-hugging marvel, its widened tracks (1,570 mm in front, 1,554 mm at the rear) shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/35 R19 tyres. The result is a level of grip that pushes lateral and longitudinal road holding to its outer limits. The car tackles corners with an assertive precision, making optimum use of its tyres thanks to the revisions carried out on the design of its front running gear. The wheel camber has been adjusted to -1.67°, as opposed to -0.6° on the regular 308. The rear articulation of the wishbone has been stiffened, taking it from 110 to 1800 daN/mm.
The 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT is fitted with six airbags:
Peugeot Connect SOS will automatically let the emergency services know if the airbags in your 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport inflate, or the seatbelt pre-tensioners activate. It will also tell them exactly where you are, or you can contact them manually yourself by pressing the SOS button on the panel above your rear view mirror. Peugeot Connect SOS is available as an option on the GTi by Peugeot Sport range.
Peugeot Connect Assistance also brings you roadside assistance whenever you need it. Available free of charge for the first year of ownership.
To ensure plenty of braking power, the ventilated front discs are 380 mm in diameter (on the 270 hp version only - 330mm on the 250 hp version). They're mounted on aluminium hubs and pinched by four pistons (38 mm and 41 mm diameter) in a fixed Red caliper bearing the Peugeot Sport logo (only available on the 270 hp version). The rear discs are 268 mm in diameter.
In use, the system proves extremely durable and resilient, consistently delivering outstanding performance.
