PANORAMIC ROOF
The glass panoramic roofi increases the feeling of spaciousness within the interior, and contributes towards the well-being of the driver and passengers. At night, blue diodes highlight the edges of the roof, with a "comet" effect.
In a stylish rebirth, the 208 has skipped a generation to boast Peugeot’s new design aesthetic, including floating grille, light signature and boomerang rear lights.
The 208 is resolutely contemporary in design. Its carefully sculpted lines, modern silhouette, and feline-style front end showcase sensuality and vivacity. Both sleek and compact, it will not fail to surprise with its unique identity, which is both sophisticated and sporty.

Each design element, each technical application and each part has been thought out in detail to reduce the mass of the vehicle as far as possible. A "mass reduction" programme has allowed the starting weight of the Peugeot 208 to be just 975 kg, allowing for increased control of CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, without compromising the safety and performance levels of the car.
The vehicle’s athletic body design gives the Peugeot 208 a sensual and sporty identity. The front and rear wings are sculpted, forming sleek muscles which inject the silhouette with a sense of dynamism.
A total of 25% of the polymers on the 208 comes from recycled or natural material. The 208’s rear bumper, in particular, is made entirely from recycled materials, which is a world first. These recycled materials also make up many parts or functions on the vehicle (interior wheel seating, rear bumper, sound-proofing, boot mat, steering wheel, seats, engine cover, air filter, etc.).
The 208 owes its feline nature to precision technology. The fine and compact headlights are fitted – depending on the model – with LEDs and a light guide showing the track of the lights. The rear lights, in the shape of a boomerang and integrating three lit claws, seem to form one with the bodywork.
Careful attention has been paid to the aerodynamics of the new Peugeot 208. The top-end models have an SCx of 0.61 (Cx of 0.29). The 208 is amongst the very best in its category for fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
