e-HDi STOP & START TECHNOLOGY

Four diesel engines are available with e-HDi technology, and are also fitted with Stop & Start micro-hybrid technology. Rapid, efficient and silent, this new generation of Stop & Start technology allows the engine to be put into "standby" mode, just before and while the car is at a standstill, thereby allowing for improved control of fuel consumption and a reduction in CO2 emissions. When the brake pedal is released, the engine immediately restarts, silently and without vibration.
