PETROL ENGINES

1.6L 115hp
This 1,590 cm3 engine, connected to a 5-speed manual gear box and to the Stop & Start, offers a very good balance between driving pleasure and consumption.

2.0L 150hp
Offered with a 5-speed manual gear box or an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) gear box connected to the steering-wheel paddles, this 1,998 cm3 engine provides real driving pleasure both within the urban sprawl as well as on the motorway.

CONSUMPTION AND EMISSIONS TABLEi
MGB - 5 or 6 speed manual gear box / CVT = continously varied transmission gear box
The fuel consumption in the above table corresponds to certified values following European regulations applicable to all manufacturers and all private vehicles sold within Europe. These values allow you to compare different vehicles and to make your choice:
-Urban consumption is obtained from an urban type journey of around 4 kilometres.
-Non-urban consumption is obtained from a non-urban type journey of around 7 kilometres.
-Mixed consumption is obtained from the total urban and non-urban journey, that is to say around 11 kilometres.

These values are obtained from strict test conditions (temperature, mass, roller dynamometer specifications, etc.) and with a very quiet road profile. Real driving conditions, weather conditions, the vehicle's load condition, the type of driving, tyre pressure, a roof rack (even if unloaded), heavy use of the air-conditioning, and/or the heating, and the condition of the vehicle can all naturally lead to different consumptions than those stated. You can find advice about Eco Driving to get the most our of your vehicle on www.peugeot.com.

DIESEL ENGINES

1.6 HDi 115hp
Fitted with the Stop & Start system, with a Particulate Filter, and connected to a 6-speed manual gear box, this 1560 cm3 engine offers quality service at low rpm as well as controlled consumption.

1.8L HDi 150hp
This 1,798 cm3 engine equipped with a 6-speed manual gear box is characterised by its smoothing functioning. The Stop & Start fuction, the Particulate Filter, and low-rolling resistance tyres are also featured in order to help you play your part for the environment.

STOP & START

/image/09/6/peugeot_4008_start_stop-full.195096.jpg

The 4008 offers Stop & Start technology for the 1.6L 115hp, 1.6L HDi FAP 115hp, and 1.8L HDi FAP 150hp. Quick, effective, and quiet, this technology enables consumption to be controlled while lowering CO2 emissions. The pleasure of using it is at a maximum because of the engine stopping and restarting almost immediately and without any vibrations, whenever conditions necessitate it.

PARTICULATE FILTER

/image/31/6/peugeot_rcz_filtre-a-part-full.192316.jpg

HDi technology is combined with a very high-performance pollution-control system, the Particulate Filter (PF). Self-cleaning, it treats gases resulting from diesel combustion in the engine. This equipment reduces particulate emissions from diesel engines to the limit of what is measurable (0.004 g/km), thus making it a more environmentally conscious engine.
