The interior design of the new Peugeot 508 has been carefully conceived to offer maximum comfort to all its occupants. The passenger compartment is every bit as spacious as it is elegant, and comes with a wide range of equipment all designed to enhance your enjoyment of the car.
Electronic recognition makes your 508 easier to unlock and start up, replacing the traditional mechanical key with an electronic key to be kept in your pocket or handbag. A gentle touch of the handle is all that's required to open or lock the doors. Once on board, the engine can be started and stopped simply by pressing the Start/Stop button.
For optimum space and convenience, the new Peugeot 508 includes countless storage spaces to make life more pleasant for its occupants: a storage space in the centre console, a glove compartment with fresh air ventilation, two cup holders in the front and two in the reari, bottle holders in each door panel, a storage space below the armrest and a detachable ashtray.
In addition to manual single zone and automatic two-zone air conditioningi, the Peugeot 508 also offers the option of four-zone air conditioningi, allowing each occupant to control his or her own space - for personalised, maximised comfort.
The load sill of the boot of the new Peugeot 508 saloon car has been lowered for extra convenience. Its generous 545 l capacity (515 dm3 VDA) rises to 1,581 l (1,381 dm3 VDA) when the rear seats are folded down. And additional storage compartments under the boot mat provide a further capacity of 48 l (42 dm3 VDA)i.
